29 November 2002
The long lay off without a game probably meant that the team did not wake up until after the interval in their match against the under 10 tangerine team. Never the less this was a great game to watch and emphasised the standards that are expected from Letham teams. This week there is another home fixture against Kinross Colts (1) kick off timed for 11.00a.m. Will all players report to Seven Acres by 10.30a.m.
06 December 2002
Due to weather conditions the game last week was postponed. This week the team are on home territory against the tangerine team. Will all players please report to Seven Acres at 10.30a.m.
13 December 2002
The boys were disappointed that the fixture last week was called off. Will players please report to the clubhouse on Sunday at 10.30a.m. prompt.
20 December 2002
The boys played very well against the more fancied tangerine team. However when all was done and dusted the team can take heart as there were definite signs that the hard work of Gordon Murdoch and coach David Henderson is starting to pay off. It was a great pity that they allowed the opposition to take an early lead so that they had to chase the game otherwise there was no difference between the sides. Will players note the next official event is on Sunday, 12th,January in the Letham Centre.

Last Saturday the team travelled to Forthbank Stadium, Stirling for a practice session as a guest of a Crieff club. The object was to introduce the players to eleven a side football on a full sized pitch. By the end of the first half the team were 5 goals down, which was entirely due to lack of experience. The second half was a different story and they played with conviction and style and started to understand teamwork. Against more experienced opponents the final result of 3-6 was indeed a considerable achievement and was a reflection of the hard work by Gordon and David. The club wish to thank parents and friends for providing the transport and for their support it what turned out to be a very enjoyable visit to an all weather pitch. Players will be notified if a further game is arranged before next week’s training session in the Letham Centre.
